Marco
Island, located at the southernmost tip of mainland Florida’s
west coast, is the largest inhabited isle of the Ten Thousand
Islands. The island is 6 miles long by 4 miles wide on
which lush sandy beaches run along the west side of the island.
The island has 9,000 acres of condos, canal homes, restaurants,
shops & many other amenities.
Marco Island's
4 miles of crescent beach are considered the prize of the
island. The white-sandy beach is kept immaculate with
regular rakings and cleaning. The beach shore is filled
with a unique variety of sea shells and ocean life that is
brought ashore daily.
The
islands tropical setting is beautifully landscaped with many
varieties of native plants, including palms & hibiscus.
There are many endangered species on or around the island,
including bald eagles, manatees, & sea turtles just to name a
few. Also, Dolphins can be observed almost daily
navigating the shores of the island. Altogether, Marco Island provides an escape filled with
sun-washed beaches, the tranquil waters of the Gulf of Mexico, a
